Our Story
How a lifelong collector turned a growing pile of Pokémon into a card shop in Hoover.
Henry has always been a collector. Toys came first, then Pokémon, back when knowing which cards were rare mattered a lot more than knowing what rent cost.
For years he worked one job after another, and spent a good chunk of that time helping build up someone else's business. Eventually he figured he would rather put that energy into something of his own.
That leap led to a few good connections in the hobby, enough to start bringing in Pokémon product. Then more of it. Before long we were buying so much Pokémon that it needed its own roof, so we went and found one.
How we got here
The shop came together one piece at a time. First a display case. Then some shelves. Then tables and chairs. Then a lot of late nights decorating and sorting through what still feels like an endless mountain of bulk. Now we are fully open, right here in Hoover.

Behind the counter you will find friendly faces who genuinely love this hobby. We know the games and we know the market, the play side and the value side both. New to all of it and want someone to walk you through how a game works? That is honestly one of our favorite things to do. Pull up a chair and stay a while.

We carry Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh, and other trading card games, along with sealed product, singles, graded slabs, accessories, and snacks, plus a play area for tournaments and casual games.
