Pokémon 30th Celebration: what’s in the set and every product so far

Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration came out September 16, 2026, and the products have kept rolling in since. The anniversary set leans hard on nostalgia, with a lot of older Pokémon and card styles coming back, but the pack structure is different from a normal expansion and it changes how you should buy it.

A Pikachu in every pack

Every 30th Celebration booster pack has five foil cards and a foil Basic Energy. One of those five is always a Pikachu rare. There are 30 of them, each with its own holofoil pattern and the 30th anniversary logo behind the text box. If you open enough packs you will have doubles long before you have all 30, so plan on trading at the counter or picking up the last few as singles.

The Futuristic rare

The set introduces a rarity called Futuristic rare, illustrated by the Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN. These are the chase cards for most people. Mewtwo ex and Mew ex are in the main set, and ex cards for Sylveon, Greninja, Espeon and Umbreon show up across the product line as promos and deck leads.

What came out in September

  • 2-Pack Blister: a foil Eevee promo, a coin and two packs.
  • Knock Out Collection: foil Eevee, coin, two packs.
  • Binder Collection: a 9-pocket binder and five packs.
  • Poster Collection: a poster showing more than 160 cards from the set, foil Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres promos, and three packs.
  • Pokémon ex Box (Sylveon ex or Greninja ex): the promo in a playable size and an oversize version, plus four packs.
  • Elite Trainer Box: nine packs, a full-art Nidorina promo, 65 sleeves, 16 foil Basic Energy, dice, a coin, a box with dividers and a player’s guide. The Pokémon Center version has 11 packs and two Nidorina promos.

October: Booster Bundles and Mini Tins

The Booster Bundle (October 2) is six packs and nothing else. If you only want to open cards it is the cheapest way to get six.

The Mini Tins (also October 2) come in ten designs. Each tin has two packs, a sticker sheet and an art card that shows the tin’s artwork. Line up all ten art cards and they form two larger pictures, one daytime and one nighttime. If you want the full scene you need all ten tins.

Battle Decks on October 30

Two 30th Celebration Battle Decks are due October 30. One is led by Espeon ex and the other by Umbreon ex. Both are all-foil 60-card decks with a deck box, coin and playmat. The Espeon deck includes an illustration rare style Victini promo and the Umbreon deck has a Zeraora done the same way. If the promo is what you are after, pick the deck by which promo you want.

November products

  • Tech Sticker Collection: a foil Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario promo, a matching sticker sheet and three packs.
  • Ditto Premium Collection: a Ditto promo, an acrylic display and eight packs.
  • Ultra-Premium Collection (Day and Night): Pikachu ex paired with either Espeon ex or Umbreon ex, a playmat, sleeves, a deck box, 29 packs, and one Classic Collection pack with three cards.
  • Figure Collection (Mew or Mewtwo): a foil promo and an oversize card, a figure and five packs.

Dates and contents above come from The Pokémon Company’s product showcase and October release roundup. Check the box before you buy, because contents occasionally differ by region.

Open it or keep it sealed?

Depends on what you want out of it. Opening packs is the only way to chase the Pikachu subset yourself, and the ten Mini Tins are built to be opened for the art cards. Sealed boxes are easier to display and easier to sell later as a unit. Neither one is a guaranteed investment. Anniversary products get reprinted, demand moves around, and condition matters a lot. Buy the thing you will enjoy owning.

Collecting tips

Decide early whether you want the whole set, the 30 Pikachu, a few favorite illustrations, or sealed product. Each is a different budget. If you are after specific cards, singles are more predictable than packs. Sleeve anything you care about and keep it away from heat, damp and direct sun.

At the shop

We buy and trade Pokémon cards, including 30th Celebration singles, so if you end up with extra Pikachu bring them by. Stock on sealed product changes week to week. See what Pokémon sealed is listed or call the shop before you make a trip for a specific box.
