Pokémon Delta Reign: release date, Mega Rayquaza ex, Legendary Stadiums and products
Delta Reign, the next expansion in the Mega Evolution series, releases November 6, 2026. The set has more than 135 cards, brings back Mega Rayquaza ex, and adds a two-card Stadium type that has not been in the game before.
Mega Rayquaza ex is back
Four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex headline the set: Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex and Mega Malamar ex. Rayquaza is the one people will ask about. It last had a Mega card about a decade ago and it was one of the defining cards of that era, so expect the chase versions to go fast.
Legendary Stadiums
Delta Reign introduces Legendary Stadiums. Each one is two separate Stadium cards whose art lines up into a single wide illustration when you set them side by side. Any pack that contains a Legendary Stadium card contains both halves, so you will not be stuck hunting for the other side.
The first one previewed is Legendary Pyroduct. While it is in play, both players’ Evolution Pokémon have no Abilities. That is a big effect, and it is the kind of card that gets talked about in Standard right away. There are three Legendary Stadiums in the set, six cards total.
Other previewed cards
- Hypno: its Mind Ruler attack does 20 damage for each card in your opponent’s hand.
- Kecleon: Colorful Whip does 30 damage for each Pokémon revealed with a different type.
- Enamorus: previewed as an illustration rare.
- Aarune: a special illustration rare Supporter whose effect searches out up to three Supporter and Stadium cards in any combination.
The Pokémon Company’s set breakdown lists 14 illustration rare Pokémon, 17 ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards, and six special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards. The full English card list was not published as of this writing, so treat those numbers as the announced plan rather than a final checklist.
What is being sold
- Booster pack: 10 cards plus a Basic Energy.
- Booster Display Box: 36 packs.
- Booster Bundle: six packs, no extras.
- Elite Trainer Box: nine packs, a full-art foil Kyogre promo, 65 sleeves, 40 Energy cards, damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die, a coin, a storage box and a player’s guide. The Pokémon Center version has 11 packs and two Kyogre promos, one with the Pokémon Center logo.

All five are dated November 6.
Which one to buy
If you just want to open packs, the display box is the lowest price per pack and the bundle is the cheapest way in. The Elite Trainer Box makes sense if you also need sleeves and a box to keep the cards in, or if you want the Kyogre promo. The Build & Battle Box is the pick for anyone who wants to play with the new cards first, since the 40-card deck is ready to go. Packs are random. No product promises a specific rare unless the box says so.
