Star Trek Commander decks are running late in North America: what Wizards has said

Magic’s Star Trek set still releases November 13, 2026, but some products will not be on shelves that day. Wizards of the Coast posted a notice on October 16 listing which products are late and where. Here is the short version for customers in the United States.

What is late here

In North America the only products listed are the Commander decks. Wizards says they may arrive after the tabletop release date. That is all they have said: no new date, and no breakdown by deck. Some stores may get theirs on time and some may not, so it will come down to each store’s shipment.

What is on track

Play Boosters and Prerelease Packs. Wizards’ wording is that they “are on track for availability during Prerelease and release events.” Prerelease runs November 6 to 12. Nothing in the notice affects those events.

Delays in other regions

The lists for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and for Asia-Pacific are longer. They include Collector Boosters, Collector’s Edition Commander decks, Draft Night, Scene Boxes, Bundles and Beam Me Up Bundles, depending on the region and language. If you see one of those products called “delayed” online, check which region the post is about. None of them are listed for North America.

If you preordered

• The release date has not moved. Only the Commander deck shipments have.
• A late shipment is not a cancelled order. Your preorder stands until the product arrives.
• Ask the store you ordered from for an estimated date. They will know before anyone else does.
• Wizards says it will post updates as the situation changes, and that estimated dates can shift.
